David Price, current Gardens’ president, is a self taught artist. His art and 26-year career in public gardens was inspired when, as a child, he visited Brookgreen Gardens in South Carolina and saw the stone and bronze sculpture displayed in a garden setting. His bronze sculptures capture the form and function of anatomy and convey the attitude of the subject. His work is represented in both private and public collections.
